The stars went all out for the Haute Couture instalment of Paris Fashion Week, which ran from the 1st to the 5th of July. While reviews from fashion critics remain mixed as to whether the likes of Raf Simmons broke creative ground with his Avatar-esque take on haute couture for Dior, they are all in agreement about the tres chic appearances of A-Listers in attendance.
Attracting a trophy room of best-dressed accolades for their unflinching style choices, Kristen Stewart and Rihanna have garnered appreciation across the industry for their designer looks.
Here are the highlights of their Paris Fashion Week outfits:
A two-time winner of the coveted number one spot on Glamour’s Best Dressed Women list, Kristen Stewart is a style anomaly. From her unexceptional casual wear to her ultra glam red carpet looks, Kristen’s ability to cover the fashion spectrum is fascinating. Paris Fashion Week was a prime example; with Kristen ditching her trademark tom boy street wear for a striking Chanel outfit on one occasion, and a fierce black silk and lace Zuhair Murad jumpsuit on another. We especially loved her colour-blocked Chanel shorts and oversized jacket, which she accessorised perfectly with fingerless leather gloves and an assortment of chain bracelets. A fashion wild card, Rihanna turned up to the Chanel showroom decked out in… wait for it… Chanel (with a twist)! Chanel and R-Rated generally aren’t two words you would put together, unless you’re Rihanna that is. The Diamonds singer left little to the imagination in a long, thin sweater dress that she paired with Chanel pumps and a clutch. She added a touch of elegance to the outfit with a string of long, draped pearls. Rihanna’s preference for risqué fashion outfits has paid off this time, landing her on Paris Fashion Week’s best dressed list.
